Entries are invited from Essex PGA Professionals and Essex Based Amateur Golfers to compete in the Essex Open Championship Pre-Qualifying at Thorpe Hall Golf Club

Amateur entry criteria: handicap must be 3 or under at the time of entry and you must be a member of a Golf Club in Essex. Exenptions: There are exemptions and these are as follows: The top 5 players from the 2007 EPGA Open, the past 5 winners, the first 7 players in the Essex OOM for 2007, the first five players in the East Region OOM for 2007 –
for further clarification of exemptions please contact the Essex PGA Office.
Amateur pre-qualifying exemptions include: amateurs within the top 5 players from the 2007 Essex Open Championship and the Essex Amateur Champion from 2007. For clarification on exemptions call the EPGA Office.
The Final field will be 72 players including all exemptions.
Superb prizes for top amateurs.

published on the Essex PGA website.
Cost of entry for the 36 hole championship is: £35 per player
